Teacher's Gift: Altered Clipboard

Here’s a fun and easy idea for a teacher's appreciation gift.  The kids will love helping with this one.

Supplies

• Clipboard
• Foam Brush
• Acrylic Paint
• Foam Stamps
• Embellishments
• Craft Glue Dots

Instructions

1. Using a foam brush, paint the entire clipboard with a background color.  Let it dry completely.  Use 2-3 coats.
2. Apply paint to foam stamps, and stamp randomly over background. Use a variety of coordinating colors and designs, and overlap some of the images.
3. You can also paint the clip part if you like, but the paint might scrape off if it isn’t a paint made specifically for metal.  Although you can use a spray sealer, I didn’t find that I needed one.
4. Add a bow or other embellishments with some Graft Glue Dots, and you’re done.
