Glue Dots International unveiled two new products at the Craft & Hobby Association’s (CHA) Winter Conference and Trade Show last week. Show attendees got the first, hands-on feel for the new XL Glue Dots® and XXL Glue Dots® by creating paper flowers for the Glue Dots “Masterpiece for Make-A-Wish”. The new super-sized Glue Dots will be available in stores starting in February.
Attendees at the show filled in a printed mural using paper flowers they created using the new Glue Dots and crepe paper. Upon completion of the masterpiece, Glue Dots made a $500 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Orange County and the Inland Empire.
“We thank Glue Dots for this donation,” stated Rebecca Kwait from the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Orange County and the Inland Empire. “The support and time dedicated by show attendees to help create this masterpiece is overwhelming.”

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire is expecting to grant 325 wishes this year.
“Glue Dots created the ‘Masterpiece for Make-A-Wish’ to give back to the community in a creative way,” said Lindsay Karlin, Consumer Products Manager at Glue Dots International. “We wanted to help a great cause and engage show attendees with our new product at the same time.”
The completed mural used over 500 Glue Dots and took three days to complete.
XL Glue Dots and XXL Glue Dots are super-strong adhesives that work with heavier materials like wood or metal embellishments, thick cardstock, fabric or handmade papers. The 1” and 2” diameter Glue Dots are double-sided and require no dry time. Similar to the entire Glue Dots assortment, they are the no-mess, instant-bonding alternative to tapes and glues.
