Create an Autumn Pumpkin Frame for Your Home!

Autumn Pumpkin Frame

New Dottess, Smitha Katti, Shows You How!

Supplies:
- Pop Up Glue Dots®
- 1" Glue Lines®
- 8x10 frame (remove the glass)
- 4 sheets of patterned paper (one for base)
- Green cardstock
- Water color paints and brush
- 1" circle punch
- Scissors

Fall has to be the most colorful season of all times.  I love bringing some of those colors into our house by making some framed art for our mantle.

For this project I am using an 8 x 10 frame. For the base of my frame, I chose a wheat colored cardstock and added some interest to it with watercolor paints. Splatter a few different colors on damp paper and let dry completely.

Autumn Pumpkin Frame Step 1

Next, I started choosing my papers. All are from Basic Grey and are perfect for a fall theme. I punched 1-inch circles from each paper. You will need three circles from each patterned paper.

Autumn Pumpkin Frame Step 2

To form the pumpkins, I adhered the three circles together using 1" Glue Lines. These lines are the perfect size for this project. Place a 1" Glue Line in the center of the circle and layer another folded circle on top.

Autumn Pumpkin Frame Step 3

Make 12 such circle pumpkins. Next, cut some leaves from green patterned paper and cardstock. Also, cut thin strips of paper and curl them to form the pumpkin vines.

Autumn Pumpkin Frame Step 4

Mark a grid on the base cardstock and adhere one Pop Up Glue Dots onto each of the marks. Adhere two leaves and one vine to the top portion of each Pop Up Glue Dot.

Autumn Pumpkin Frame Step 5

Finally, adhere the pumpkin circles onto the Pop Up Glue Dots.

Autumn Pumpkin Frame Step 6

And its ready to be displayed on your mantle!
