Under The Sea Diorama

Turn an old cardboard box into a diorama depicting life under the sea.

Supplies

• Pop Up Glue Dots
• Craft Glue Dots
• Cardboard box or shoe box
• Paint Brush
• Blue acrylic paint
• One 8 1/2" x 11" Sheet of Green Foam
• Assorted sea life figures (fish, octopus, anemone, etc.)
• One brown paper shopping bag

Instructions

1. Paint the inside of your cardboard box using the blue paint.  Allow to dry.
2. Cut the brown paper shopping bag to fit inside the bottom flap of the box.  Using Craft Glue Dots secure the sandpaper inside the box.
3. Using the sheet of green foam, cut out seven strips of sea weed in various lengths.
4. Attach the seaweed to the interior of the box with Pop Up Glue Dots. (Use 2-3 stacked Pop Up Glue Dots to create extra dimension.)
5. Attach the figurines to the back of the box using Pop Up Glue Dots .
6. Adhere flat objects to the sea floor (brown paper shopping bag) using Craft Glue Dots.
