Kid's Flower Art for Mother's Day

Here's a great, easy canvas for the kids to make for mom or grandma!

Supplies

• XXL Glue Dots
• XL Glue Dots
• Continuous Glue Lines
• Thin canvas board
• Colored foam sheets
• Light blue acrylic paint
• Green acrylic paint

Instructions

1. Paint the canvas blue and let dry.
2. Cut out petals and grass from the colored foam sheets.
3. Place the XXL Glue Dots on the canvas, keeping in mind that this will be the center of the flowers.
4. Add the petals to the XXL Glue Dots. Depending upon how big your petals are, you should be able to adhere 8 petals on to the XXL Glue Dot.
5. Place an XL Glue Dot on top of the first layer of petals in the center of the flower.
6. Add a second layer of petals (offset from the first layer), adhering the petal tips to the XL Glue Dot.
7. Use green acrylic paint to create the steams of the flowers and let dry.
8. Cut a piece of Green foam to look like grass.
9. Adhere Continuous Glue Lines along the bottom of the canvas and press the piece of green foam onto the adhesive.
10. Cut leaf petals from green foam and adhere to the painted flower stems using Continuous Glue Lines.
